CatchMatch Refund Policy

14-day no-questions refund
You can request a refund within 14 calendar days of purchase, for any reason, no questions asked. This covers EU consumer-protection law's right of withdrawal for digital goods and is the standard Gumroad refund window.
How to request
Email catchmatchapp@michelstorms.dev with your Gumroad order number (or the email address you bought with). Refunds are processed within 5 business days.
What we ask before refunding
For our own learning — not as a precondition — we appreciate (but do not require) one or two sentences on what didn't work for you. This helps us improve the product. You can refuse and you'll still get the refund.
After 14 days
We process refund requests case by case after the 14-day window. We'll generally agree to refund within the first 60 days if you simply did not use the app or if it stopped working through our fault. Outside that, we'll explain why if we decline.
When a refund is processed
- Your purchase record is marked refunded in Gumroad.
- The next license re-verification (within 24 hours) detects the refund and the app reverts to its trial state.
- You stop receiving updates.
Pre-purchase eligibility
To minimize wrong-tool-for-the-job purchases, the Gumroad listing and the CatchMatch page state up front:
- macOS version requirement
- Apple Music Sync Library or iTunes Match required for cross-device sync
- Comfort installing Homebrew, yt-dlp, ffmpeg (the app guides you)
If something on that checklist doesn't match your setup, please don't buy — and if you did and it was unclear, just ask for a refund.
