TrackHound Terms of Use
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of TrackHound ("App"), provided by Michel Storms ("we", "us", "our"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.
1. Accounts
TrackHound does not require an account. Your data stays on your device.
2. Service Description
TrackHound is a routing app for motorcycles, 4x4 / overlanding, and similar vehicles. It computes routes on-device using locally stored map and routing data, supports downloading regional maps for offline use, and can export routes as GPX.
3. Safe Use
You are responsible for operating your vehicle safely and lawfully. Do not interact with the App while driving or riding. Routes may include unpaved or difficult terrain; assess each route for suitability before following it, and obey all local laws, signage, access restrictions, and private-property rules. The App is a navigation aid, not a substitute for situational awareness and judgment.
4. Map and Routing Data
Map style tiles are served by OpenFreeMap. Underlying map and routing data is derived from OpenStreetMap and related open data sources. This data is community-maintained and may be incomplete, out of date, or inaccurate. We make no warranty about the accuracy, completeness, or availability of any route, road, track, or path.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the App for unlawful purposes, to trespass on private property, to violate access restrictions, or to attempt to interfere with or reverse engineer the App.
6. Updates and Availability
We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the App at any time, to the extent permitted by law.
7. Disclaimers and Liability
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the App, including damages related to navigation decisions, route suitability, or terrain conditions.
