ListSweep Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how ListSweep ("App"), provided by Michel Storms ("we", "us", "our"), handles information when you use the app on Apple platforms.
1. Overview
ListSweep is a local utility for Apple Reminders (and may expand to Calendar). Your reminder data stays on your device and in your existing Apple accounts (for example iCloud Reminders). ListSweep does not operate a backend that stores your reminders or calendar data.
2. Data We Access
With your permission, ListSweep uses Apple’s EventKit framework to:
- Read your Reminders lists and reminder items
- Update reminder completion state (for example marking completed items incomplete in bulk)
Access is requested via the system Reminders permission dialog. You can revoke access anytime in iOS Settings → ListSweep or Settings → Privacy & Security → Reminders.
3. Data We Collect
ListSweep does not collect, sell, or share personal data with third parties for advertising or analytics.
- No analytics SDKs
- No advertising SDKs
- No account system operated by ListSweep
- No server-side storage of reminder or calendar content
If you email support, the content of that email (including any app version string you send) is processed only to respond to your request.
4. On-Device Processing
Reminder and list data are processed on device using Apple frameworks. Sync behavior follows your Apple/iCloud configuration; ListSweep does not run a separate sync network.
5. Purchases
ListSweep is sold as a paid App Store download (no in-app subscription, unless later stated on the product page). Apple processes the purchase under Apple’s privacy policy. ListSweep does not receive your payment card details.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell personal data. The App does not include third-party tracking SDKs. Data you grant EventKit access to remains under Apple’s platform and your account settings.
7. Data Retention
ListSweep does not retain reminder content on our servers. Preferences stored on your device (for example onboarding completion) remain until you delete the app or clear them.
8. Children's Privacy
ListSweep is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Policy Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top indicates the latest version.
