LibreBase Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 2, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how LibreBase ("App") handles information when you use the app on Apple platforms. In short: LibreBase has no servers and collects no data. Everything stays on your device.

1. Data We Process

2. How Data Is Used

Data is used only to operate core app functionality: reading your weight from the scale, calculating BMI, and saving measurements to Apple Health. The App performs all of this on your device.

3. Data Sharing

We do not collect or sell personal data. The App contains no analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking SDKs, and no networking code. Data written to Apple Health is governed by Apple's privacy protections and your Health settings (including any iCloud sync you have enabled).

4. Data Retention

Weight and height you save are stored in Apple Health and remain there under your control until you remove them in the Health app. Local app settings remain on your device until you remove them in the App or uninstall the App.

5. Security

We rely on Apple platform protections, including app sandboxing and the HealthKit permission model, to help protect data processed by the app.

6. Medical Disclaimer

LibreBase is a wellness logger, not a medical device. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

7. Children's Privacy

LibreBase is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal data from children.

8. Policy Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top indicates the latest version.
